Introduction to Handguns

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This two-hour, introductory course is perfect for new shooters or anyone who desires to understand the mechanics of a handgun and handle it safely. Students will gain an understanding of handgun types, safety, mechanics, and basic marksmanship fundamentals.

 

AUDIENCE

The Introduction to Handguns course is designed to help the student become familiar and comfortable with a handgun. This course is available with or without live-fire. Laser-enabled training guns are utilized to enhance the learning environment. This course is perfect for children and students with a fear of handguns or anxiety related to gunfire.

Guns and ammunition will be provided for live-fire options.

 

SCHEDULE/TIME REQUIREMENT

This session typically lasts two hours (add an additional hour for optional live-fire practice).
