USCCA DEFENSIVE SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS
The USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Mini-Course is ideal for new and intermediate shooters who have completed a basic pistol course or a concealed carry class. The course is designed to introduce the student to defensive shooting techniques that would be applied in "real-life" self-defense scenarios. Topics include defensive shooting vs. marksmanship, drawing from concealment, fortifying the proper grip, point shooting, flash sight picture, and trigger control. Students will learn to balance speed and precision for effective personal defense. 3 Hours, $79

NRA DEFENSIVE PISTOL I
The NRA Basics of Personal Protection Inside the Home (PPITH) is the ideal introductory defensive pistol course. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety, and responding to a violent confrontation. Firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and opportunities for skill development are also discussed. 8 Hours, $149

NRA DEFENSIVE PISTOL II
The NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home (PPOTH) is an advanced defensive pistol course. Students will learn and demonstrate skills that must be mastered in order to carry, store, and use a firearm safely and effectively for personal protection outside the home. Participants must understand the basic legal concepts relating to the use of firearms in self-defense and must know and observe not only general gun safety rules but also those safety principles that are specific to defensive situations. 14 Hours, $269

This full-day course will provide a fast-paced overview of defensive pistol shooting, rifle shooting basics, and shotgun basics, complete with scenario-based exercises.
